The Pasai Collaborative cultural arts group together with 0klahoma Stole University has curated a world traveiling exhibition of 
"Posters for Peace" with newly commissioned works from twenty selected designers in twenty countries - 20 x 20 - every year. So far China, Mexico, USA and Iran have participated. 
And now, Denmark will be the host for 2021,

and include Danish posters in this global archive of Posters for Peace. 
Peace symbols are many and, in many cases, outworn and overused - the CND badge, the V sign, the rainbow, Picasso's Dove of Peace fluttering about ungoinly with its olive branch in its mouth. When I googled 'dove of peace', millions of bewildering variations flickered all over the screen. 
To invent a brand new symbol might be one way forward, I thought, but the irresistible challenge for me was once more to take an old, familier icon and wrestle something new out of it. 
So, going back to the old riddle, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?", I look the dove of peace back to its origins. 
Ready to hatch when peace finally comes around, the dove's egg will have to make do as our symbol of peace for now.
